Awesome Post-It Stopmotion!

This is my senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design. Where my idea comes from is that every time when I am busy, I feel that I am not fighting with my works, I am fighting with those post-it notes and deadline. I manipulating the post-it notes to do pixel-like stop motion and there are some interactions between real actor and post-its.

Facebook > MySpace? You’re a racist.

Abandon your MySpace account for Facebook? You might just be a racist.

[…]

Referring to MySpace as the “ghetto of the digital landscape,” Boyd indicated that MySpace users are more likely to be “brown or black” and espouse a different set of ideals in conflict with those espoused by the teens she surveyed over four years. She said that patterns in migration across social networking sites echoed those of a white exodus from cities in the past. Boyd also said that teens who use Facebook are more likely to condescend their MySpace-favoring peers.

WTF.

I am, however, somewhat inclined to agree with some of the arguments – Facebook can generally be seen as the “rich man’s MySpace”, the social network for those who put some sort of value into their personal networks. Facebook is generally considered to be a “better, more refined” version of MySpace, too.

RIPT FUSION Shirt Transforms Man Into Meathead, Instantly

ript shirt

What’s a RIPT FUSION shirt? Well it’s “a classic men’s undershirt injected with steroids,” of course. For just $US58, it’ll add pecs and abs all while sucking in the flabby parts. But even more critical to society, it’ll put geeks on the same playing field as jocks, the lazy on the same playing field as the obnoxiously active.

Even if the Ript Fusion is too gimmicky to make you look good, it could eventually make muscles look bad. And in the long run, that’s really just as beneficial.

How about we just name this the “most douche-y shirt ever” and be done with it? XD

Unfortunate, no?

It’s the wardrobe malfunction to end them all.

Italian Olympic swimmer Flavia Zoccari was forced to sit out a championship race at the Mediterranean Games yesterday after her bathing costume burst open in a very unfortunate place.

Flavia, 22, was wearing the controversial £318 top-of-the-line Jaked J01 swimsuit when disaster struck at the Games in Pescara, Italy..

Recognise these? Scribble-naut sized L4D survivors!

Scribblenaut-ized Heavy, Spy, and Pyro by Turk128. As with the previously featured fan-drawn game characters mimicking Scribblenauts’ playful style, these Team Fortress 2 classes likely won’t appear in the DS game.

Neither will these survivors from Left 4 Dead.

In my opinion, L4D > TF2, but here you are anyway:

iPhone Carrier Bundles Update

I’ve jailbroken my iPhone 3G, extracted and modified the bundle included, to enable tethering, set up MMS properly (full resolution photos anyone?) and properly configuring Group SMS.

Previously if you attempted to send a SMS message to a group of people, it would instead be sent as a MMS, at MMS rates. Not good. [This carrier update allows you to send multiple messages to groups as SMSs, not as MMSs – Benny]

This new bundle also conforms to the official bundles avaliable for iPhone OS 3 (unneeded/redundant settings have been removed, like EnableMMSCEditing).

All data (iPhone data and tethering) goes through the telstra.iph APN, and MMS goes through telstra.mms.

You can find the carrier bundle here: Telstra_au.ipcc.

Beau then goes on to handle that pesky no-manual-carrier update issue:

Enabling custom carrier file uploading in iTunes 8.2:

For Windows users, please paste these into ‘Run’ (Press WinKey + R while on the desktop:
