I have no idea what this does.

It’s an un-marked dial in the centre, between the driver and passenger
seats. It faces the backseat passengers. It seemingly serves no
purpose that I could tell.

Oh, and it’s in a Mitsubishi Pajero. Quite an old one though, probably
2002 or older?
